What you get with an SSL Certificate?

The little green lock

The green lock in the browser bar and the "s" in https means that the site is safe in all languages. Ask both of them on your site to show visitors that you are concerned that their data is safe.

Best google ranking

The world's first search engine favours websites encrypted with HTTPS and will elevate them in search results. So SSL not only protects your customers, but it also helps you find more.

Obtain a reliable SSL certificate

Trust is the cornerstone of the SSL protocol, which means that we comply with strict verification guidelines. We have been online as Trusted Trust Roll Roll as SSL providers and have been exporting strong certificates that all browsers can trust.

Protect sensitive information

SSL certificates protect the confidential information of your customers by encrypting the data they send you and then decrypt them as soon as they are received.

Safely accept credit cards on your website.

If you want to sell to a much wider audience, you must give customers the payment options they prefer, and SSL to keep clicking on the payment process.

The best encryption in the world.

Our SSL certificates use the SHA-2 summary method and the 2048-bit encryption to protect sensitive data. Together, they provide the best protection in today's market.

How SSL certificates work

The SSL certificate creates a secure tunnel where information that includes user names, passwords, credit card numbers and more can pass securely.

First, SSL "handshake"

When a visitor enters a website protected by SSL, the SSL certificate automatically creates a secure and encrypted connection with your browser. Your site is more secure when you implement SSL on all pages and subdomains.

The lock icon appears

Once the connection is complete, the lock icon and an HTTPS prefix appear in the visitor's browser bar to show that they are safe to share personal details. If you install SSL (Extended Validation), the browser will activate the green bar and show the name of your company to show that it is legitimate.

You are good to go

All the information that passes to and from your website is encrypted, which makes the data practically intrusive.

You need sites to see you for sure.

If you want your visitors to know that your data is safe, look for security. HTTP"s" in URL and also the padlock within the browser's address bar are two indicators that the web site is protected by a trustworthy SSL certificate.

Frequently asked questions

How do I install my SSL Certificate?

When you issue your SSL certificate, we will send you an email to inform you. What happens next depends on where your site is hosted and the options you chose when purchasing the certificate.

If you choose to host websites, the Builder site or the online store will be all about you. If you are hosting your website with another company or using VPS or dedicated servers, get more information here.

To install the SSL certificate in the Plesk Parallels panel, cPanel and Microsoft IIS, see here.

What is an SSL Certificate?

SSL means Secure Socket Layer. It may seem complicated, but in reality it is not. SSL certificates verify the identity of your website and encrypt the information that visitors send or receive from your site. This prevents thieves from spying on any exchange between you and the buyers.

When you have an SSL certificate that protects your website, your customers can be sure that the information they enter on any secure page is private and can not be seen by online scammers. "CloudDomainHosting" facilitates the installation of your certificate and secures your server

For more information, see Defining SSL certificates.

What are the benefits of having an SSL Certificate on my website?

"Cloud Domain Hosting" SSL certificates inspire security and show visitors that you value their privacy. The SSL certificate protects the confidential information of the client, such as name, address, password or credit card number by encrypting the data while it is transferred from your computer to your web server. SSL is the standard for web security, and the server certificate is required by most commercial account services. You will need one if you plan to accept credit cards on your website.

How will people know my website is safe?

How to build your website depends on you completely. In fact, most basic secure sites can be manually encoded using HTML.

When a visitor enters a page protected with SSL on their website, the browser bar displays a lock icon and the prefix https: // in the URL. Although most Internet users know they are looking for these SSL indicators, you can also add a site stamp to your website to show visitors that your site has been verified and protected. Visitors can click on the stamp to see the status and details of their certificate, and note that it is safe to send confidential information to their website. Sites protected by "CloudDomainHosting's" Premium EV SSL also show a green browser bar, which gives users the green light.

For more information, see Verify the validity of the certificate on your computer.

What is the difference between Standard SSL Certificate and Premium SSL Certificate?

All sites protected by SSL show the prefix https: // in the URL bar. SSL sites with EV Premium show a green section to quickly confirm that the legal and physical presence of the company has been verified in accordance with the strict industry standards.

The "CloudDomainHosting" Premium EV SSL certificate includes the most complete detection process. We investigate the control of the scope and legitimacy of your company by verifying your legal name, address, telephone number and other work information. The process takes approximately 30 days, but we cover it during that period. SSL certificates with EV come with standard SSL for free use during the scanning process, so you can keep transactions secure while you wait.

Which SSL Certificate do I need?

Ask these question before buy SSL to find the SSL certificate you need:

  1. Where is your location? Our certificates are issued all over the world with some exceptions. Check this list to see if it is covered.
  2. Do you have a business or personal website? Unless you sell things on your personal site, the standard SSL (DV) certificate is good. This also applies to business information sites. E-commerce sites must use a standard single domain (DV) SSL certificate or a Premium SSL (EV) certificate.
  3. What type of web hosting server are you using? Our SSL certificates work in most hosting and server configurations. To protect multiple domains in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2010, or Live® Communications Server, use multi-domain SSL.
  4. How many different areas do you need to protect? SSL wildcard certificates cover multiple subdomains. For example, use Wildcard to protect * .yourexampledomainname.com, which will cover shop.yourexampledomainname.com, www.yourexampledomainname.com and any other subdomain.
  5. SSL UCC certificates will cover multiple domains, subdomains and websites. For example, you can protect www.yourexampledomainname.com, mail.yourexampledomainname.com and www.yourexampledomainname.com.
  6. Do you need an SSL certificate that supports Intel vPro technology to manage your computer remotely? You will need a luxury certificate (OV).
How long will I have to wait for my SSL certificate?

Standard SSL (DV) usually takes 5 minutes or less. SSLs Deluxe (OV) takes 3 to 5 business days, as we not only verify ownership of the domain but also the presence of the company or work in the SSL application.

For Premium Certificates (EV), there is a comprehensive exam that starts with an in-depth application. Before you begin, gather details about your work, such as the registration number, the enrollment agent, the record, and any information from the jurisdiction.

How do I create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)?

This depends on the program you are using on your web server. I know more

For information on how to create a CSR in the Plesk panel, cPanel and Microsoft IIS, see here.

What is a Unified Communications Certificate (UCC)?

The Unified Communications Certificate (UCC) is the SSL certificate that provides multiple domain names, as well as multiple hostnames within the domain name. The UCC SSL certificate allows you to secure a primary domain name and up to 99 alternative domain names (SANs) with an SSL certificate. For example, you can use UCC to protect www.domains1.com, www.domains2.net and www.domains3.org.

UCCs are compatible with shared hosting and are ideal for Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2010, and Microsoft Live® Communications Server. However, the site stamp and certificate information "Issued to" will only display the primary domain name. Keep in mind that secondary hosting accounts will not be included in the certificate, so if you do not want the sites to be "connected" to each other, you should not use this type of certificate.

What is a Wildcard SSL Certificate?

The Wildcard SSL certificate protects your primary domain and an unlimited number of your subdomains. For example, a single wildcard certificate can get locks for www.coolexample.com and blog.coolexample.com.

Wildcard certificates provide the common name and all subdomains at the level that you specify when you submit your SSL request.

How many separate domains can I protect with HTTPS?

Depending on how you set up your website, you may want to use something other than a single domain SSL certificate.

  • SSL wildcard certificates cover all subdomains of a domain name. For example, you can block * .coolexample.com, which will cover shop.coolexample.com, www.coolexample.com and any other subdomain.
  • SSL UCC certificates can cover multiple subdomains, domain names and unique locations. For example, you can protect www.coolexample.com, mail.coolexample.com and www.awesomeexample.com.
